Blackhawk Express's parent company of Geissler Bus Inc. was established in 1980 when founder Donovan Geissler received the Bloomer School's school bus contract.  As the year went by, Don wanted to provide the sports teams with a higher quality and more comfortable ride along with storage space for equipment.  The company’s first motor coach was purchased in 1982 and was an instant hit with the students and staff.  Bloomer’s mascot is a Blackhawk, so that’s why our motor coaches are called “Blackhawk Express."

In 1995, the company was purchased by Don’s daughter and son-in-law, David and Diane Joswiak. David and Diane both had worked at the company since 1984.  Today, Blackhawk Express still has the Bloomer School Bus contract, but we have increased the fleet of motorcoaches to 16.  Keeping with the basis of being family operated, there are many family members currently employed. Don continues to work here, both of David and Diane’s children, Joshua and Amanda, Diane’s brother, and also David’s brother.

Our family takes great pride in providing top-notch, friendly service along with affordable rates. As our past customers keep coming back year after year, we know that you will be pleased in choosing Blackhawk Express too. Customer satisfaction comes from the elite status of our fleet of luxury motorcoaches. Others just can't compare. Our mechanics and staff are continuously training on the latest technological advances the motorcoach industry has to offer. Among our 50 employees, Blackhawk Express also has a full-time detailing and body specialist on staff. We make sure you're proud to be riding with Blackhawk Express.

In 2009, Blackhawk Express began purchasing green-engine technology motorcoaches which offer cleaner burning engines and reduce sulfur emissions by as much as 90%. We couldn't be more excited to do our part in reducing the ecological impact of the transportation industry.
